As a leader, no one hands you the map
As a leader, no one hands you the map.
You’re expected to know where you’re going.
To show clarity when the path is foggy.
To lead, even when you’re still figuring it out yourself.
But here’s the truth most don’t say out loud –
– Your journey is yours to define.
– There’s no fixed route. No universal GPS.
When I coach CEOs and CXOs, this comes up often.
“Am I doing it right?” they ask.
And my answer is always:
You’re asking the wrong question.
The real question is –
– Where do you truly want to go?
– And what kind of leader do you want to be while getting there?
Because clarity isn’t found in someone else’s footsteps.
It’s built with every decision you make.
